Minutes of Meeting 2/13/06

· Attendees: George Tasker, Jan LaPierre, Cindy Flores, Michele Emery, Sherrie Holtby, Tony Bourbon, Parish Lessard, Deb Lessard, Mark Greenlaw, Jamie Baker, John Wellwood

· Meeting called to order @ 7:00

· Old business:

1. SMYFL meeting - 5 new teams invited to meeting, 2 showed ( Sanford & Massabessic ) discussion items included ability of Jr. High teams playing on Sunday.

- Portland has dropped out of SMYFL.

- Next SMYFL meeting 3/6

· New business:

1. Treasurer’s report will transfer to Carole by next meeting

2. John reported on different prices for helmets. He is continuing to get quotes. Helmets must be ordered by April 1^st.

3. Michele to make up letterhead for John to request funds from patriots organization to possibly help with the cost of the helmets.

4. John asked that helmet racks be considered for this year. Discussion will be pending how much money will be available after helmet purchase.

5. Parish has agreed to come back as Jr. High coach. Sherry will come back as cheering coach. Continue to contact people about Pee-Wee coaching positions

6. Parish requested looking into radios for the Jr. High team. He and John will look into prices and report at the next meeting.

7. Pee-Wee running camp to start 8/21

- Practice with pads to start 8/28

- Jamboree 9/9 ( host to be named )

· Next meeting: Monday 3/13/06 7:00 at the Jr. High ( if not in the cafeteria then upstairs in the media center )
