Meeting Minutes from 3/12/07

 

Ø      Started with the reading of the minutes from the last meeting. Motion made and passed to accept

 

Ø      Treasurer’s report:  No report

 

Ø      Old Business:

Equipment inventory completed for PW

Insurance bill is paid

Sherry sent prices for cheering gear from “wresting guy”

 

Ø      New Business

      Coaches code of Ethics has been adopted, all coaches will be required to sign

      Dover voted against joining

 

      Motion made and carried to raise registration prices to $80 for first child and $20 for additional in same family.

                  Cheering parents to write one check that includes sneaker money, sneaker price will go to $40

 

      PTO sports night will be Sunday, May 20 from 2-6pm – we will do our spring sign ups at that time. Volunteers are needed

     

      Cheering tryouts are May 22, 23, 24 – time and place TBD

                  Need paperwork for tryouts and physical waiver forms

                  Discuss need for “alternate list” for cheering

 

      Sheery still out on which team she will take, 2 applications are in ( update: one  application has been withdrawn  )

 

      Certification training ( NYSCA ) – cards will be automatically renewed by the league every year

 

      Jeff Adams to ask York Hospital about group rates for physicals

 

      June 5th to be second sign up day for FB - @ JH

 

      Concession stand revamp still up for discussion

 

      Next meeting will be April 9th , at the JH cafeteria
